Can I Use Canva Templates for Commercial Use?

As a general rule, you cannot use Canva templates for commercial purposes. Canva’s Terms of Use state that you can only use their tools and services for “personal, non-commercial purposes”.

There are a few exceptions to this rule. If you purchase a Canva Pro subscription, you can use Canva Pro features for commercial purposes.

Additionally, if you purchase an asset from Canva’s marketplace, you can use that asset in accordance with the license that is included with the asset.

PRO TIP: Canva’s terms of use state that you can only use their templates for personal, non-commercial use. If you try to use a Canva template for commercial purposes, you risk having your account suspended or terminated.

However, even if you have a Canva Pro subscription or you’ve purchased an asset from their marketplace, you still cannot use Canva templates for commercial purposes. This is because the templates are considered “pre-designed content” and they are not licensed for commercial use.

If you want to use Canva templates for commercial purposes, you will need to create your own designs or purchase commercial licenses for templates from other sources.
