Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:51 pm

As a design tool, Figma has a lot of features that help you be productive and efficient when working on your projects. One of those features is the ability to preview your designs on different devices.

This can be a great way to see how your design will look on different screen sizes and orientations, and to test out different interactions.

To preview your design in Figma, first select the frame that you want to preview. Then, in the top toolbar, click on the “Preview” button.

This will open up a new window where you can select the device that you want to preview your design on. You can also select whether you want to preview your design in portrait or landscape orientation.

Once you’ve selected the device and orientation, click on the “Preview” button in the bottom-right corner of the window. This will open up a new tab in your browser where you can see how your design looks on the selected device. You can interact with your design in this preview, and even click on links or buttons to test out interactions.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you may accidentally preview on Figma and waste time that could be used for productive work. Make sure to only preview when you are absolutely sure that you want to do so.

To exit the preview mode, simply close the tab in your browser. You can also go back to the Preview window and click on the “Close” button in the bottom-right corner.
