Can Figma Access Adobe Fonts?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 11:19 pm

When it comes to design, there are few tools as widely used and well-known as Adobe Photoshop. However, in recent years there has been a growing trend of designers using Figma, a vector drawing and animation software, instead.

While Figma does have some advantages over Photoshop, one area where it falls short is its ability to access Adobe Fonts.

Adobe Fonts is a subscription-based service that gives users access to a library of over 14,000 fonts. This service is integrated with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, making it easy for designers to use the fonts in their work.

However, Figma does not currently have this same integration.

PRO TIP: If you are using Adobe Fonts in your Figma account, please be aware that there is a risk that your fonts may be accessed by unauthorized users. We recommend that you only use Adobe Fonts in accounts that you trust and that have appropriate security measures in place.

Without integration with Adobe Fonts, Figma users have to find alternative ways to use the fonts they want in their designs. This can be done by either downloading the fonts and installing them on their computer, or by using a service like Google Fonts which offers a similar selection of fonts.

While Figma may eventually integrate with Adobe Fonts, for now designers who want to use specific fonts in their work will need to find alternative solutions.

In conclusion, Figma cannot access Adobe Fonts at this time. Designers who want to use specific fonts in their work will need to find alternative solutions.
