Can Figma Export HTML and CSS?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 1:37 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, developed by American software company Figma, Inc. It is available online and for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Figma has become one of the most popular design tools in recent years, due in part to its ease of use and collaborative features. One of the most common questions we hear from our users is: can Figma export HTML and CSS?

The answer is yes! Figma can export both HTML and CSS code.

In fact, it’s one of the few design tools that can do so. And not only that, but Figma makes it easy to export your designs with just a few clicks.

PRO TIP: Figma does not currently support exporting HTML and CSS. This means that any designs created in Figma will need to be recreated in another tool if you want to use them on a website.

To export your design as HTML or CSS code, first select the frame or element you want to export in the canvas. Then click on the “Export” button in the right sidebar.

In the Export dialog box that appears, select either “HTML” or “CSS” from the drop-down menu next to “Format.” Then choose whether you want to export your design as a single file or multiple files.

Finally, click on the “Export” button at the bottom of the dialog box. Your design will be exported as HTML or CSS code, depending on your selection.

So there you have it! You can now export your Figma designs as HTML and CSS code with just a few clicks.
