Can Figma Play Audio?

Figma is a vector-based design tool that allows designers to create and collaborate on designs for digital products. Figma has been gaining popularity in recent years as it offers a more intuitive and collaborative design experience than traditional design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Sketch.

One of Figma’s key features is its ability to allow designers to style text without having to code. This is a huge time-saver for designers as they can quickly iterate on text styles without having to hand-off to a developer.

However, one question that we’ve been hearing from our users is: can Figma play audio?

The answer is yes! Figma can play audio files (mp3, wav, etc.)

that have been uploaded into your project. To do this, simply select the audio file in your project panel and press the “play” button in the top-right corner of the preview panel.

This is a great feature for designers who are working on prototypes that require sound effects or who want to add audio commentary to their designs. It’s also helpful for team members who are reviewing designs and need to hear how the audio sounds before giving feedback.

We hope you find this tip helpful! Happy designing!

PRO TIP: Figma can not play audio. If you try to open an audio file in Figma, it will not work.
