Can Figma Work With InVision?

Last updated on November 30, 2022 @ 4:28 am

Figma is a vector drawing program that allows you to create illustrations, interfaces and user flows. InVision is a prototyping tool that allows you to turn your designs into interactive prototypes. Both tools are used by UX and UI designers to create digital products.

So, can Figma work with InVision? Yes, it can! In fact, the two tools are often used together by designers to create beautiful and user-friendly digital products. Here’s how you can use Figma and InVision together to create amazing designs:

1. Create your design in Figma. Figma is a great tool for creating vector illustrations, interfaces and user flows. When you’re happy with your design, export it as a PNG or JPEG file.

2. Upload your design to InVision.

InVision allows you to upload your design files and turn them into interactive prototypes. Simply click the “Create Project” button and upload your design file.

3. Add interactions in InVision. InVision makes it easy to add interactions to your prototypes. Simply click on the element you want to interact with and select the type of interaction you want to add. You can also add hotspots to link different screens together.

4. Share your prototype with others. Once you’ve added all the interactions you want, it’s time to share your prototype with others. InVision makes it easy to share your prototypes with anyone, regardless of whether they have an account or not. Simply click the “Share” button and enter the email addresses of the people you want to share your prototype with.

PRO TIP: There is no official integration between Figma and InVision. While it is possible to export designs from Figma to InVision, doing so will result in a loss of fidelity and may cause unexpected issues. We recommend using InVision Studio or Sketch for designing prototypes that will be used in InVision.
