Can I Add a PDF to Squarespace?

Yes, you can add a PDF to Squarespace. There are two ways to do this:

1. Use the File Block

2. Use an Embed Block

We’ll show you how to do both.

1. Use the File Block

First, go to the page or post where you want to add the PDF. Then, click on the “+” sign and select the “File” block from the list of options.

Next, click on the “Upload” button and select the PDF file from your computer. Once the file has been uploaded, you can click on the “Publish” button to add it to your page or post.

PRO TIP: Squarespace does not natively support PDFs. You can host your PDFs on a third-party site like Dropbox or Google Drive and then embed them on your Squarespace site using the Code Block. We do not recommend using this method to sell products, as there are security risks involved in hosting PDFs off-site. For more information, please see this help guide.

2. Use an Embed Block

If you want to embed a PDF in your Squarespace site, you can use an Embed Block.

First, go to the page or post where you want to add the PDF. Then, click on the “+” sign and select the “Embed” block from the list of options.

Next, paste the URL of the PDF into the “URL” field and click on the “Embed” button. Once the PDF has been embedded, you can click on the “Publish” button to add it to your page or post.
