Weebly is a user-friendly website builder with pre-designed themes that allow users to create a website without needing to know how to code. While Weebly does not have a search box feature built into its platform, you can add one by embedding HTML code into your Weebly site.
PRO TIP: Weebly does not currently offer a search box feature. If you add a search box to your Weebly site, it will not work.
Instructions
1.Log in to your Weebly account and click on the “Edit Site” button. This will take you to the Weebly editor, where you can make changes to your website. 2.Click on the “Add Page” button and give your new page a name. This will be the page that will contain your search box.
3.Click on the “Edit Page” button for your new page. This will open the Weebly editor for that page. 4.Click on the “Add Element” button and choose the “Embed Code” element from the list of options. This will allow you to embed HTML code into your Weebly site. 5.Paste the following HTML code into the Embed Code element:
6.Click on the “Save & Exit” button to save your changes and exit the Weebly editor.
