Can I Cancel Squarespace After a Month?

If you’re not happy with Squarespace after your first month, you can cancel your account and receive a refund for any unused time. However, if you choose to cancel, you will lose access to your site and all of its content.

When you sign up for Squarespace, you’re given a free 14-day trial. After that, you’re charged $12 per month for a personal website or $18 for a business website. If you’re not happy with the service for any reason, you can cancel your account and receive a refund for any unused time.

PRO TIP: If you cancel your Squarespace account within the first month, you will forfeit any unused portion of your paid subscription. Additionally, you will be responsible for any outstanding charges incurred during your use of the service.

However, if you choose to cancel your account, you will lose access to your site and all of its content.

This includes any pages, posts, images, or other files you’ve uploaded. You also won’t be able to use your domain name with another Squarespace site. If you decide to cancel, we recommend first exporting your site’s content.

If you need to cancel Squarespace for any reason, you can do so easily enough. Just keep in mind that if you do, you will lose access to everything on your site as well as your domain name. So if you decide to canceling, make sure to first export all of your site’s content.
