As a general rule, you can redo any action in Photoshop by pressing Ctrl+Z (Windows) / Cmd+Z (Mac). This keyboard shortcut is the Photoshop equivalent of “undo”.

If you want to redo an action that you just undid, press Ctrl+Y (Windows) / Cmd+Y (Mac). This keyboard shortcut is the Photoshop equivalent of “redo”.

Here’s a tip:

If you find yourself pressing the “undo” keyboard shortcut multiple times in a row, try using the “redo” keyboard shortcut instead. It might save you some time!

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about repeating an action in Photoshop, beware that this may not always give the desired results. Sometimes Photoshop will automatically apply a different effect the second time around, or the results may be less than perfect. If you are unsure, it is always best to consult with a professional before proceeding.
