Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 12:26 pm

Yes, you can embed a form in Wix. You can use the HTML code provided by the form vendor, or you can use Wix’s own form builder to create a form.

Either way, you’ll need to add the code to your Wix site. Here’s how:

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To embed a form from another vendor:

1. Go to the form vendor’s website and get the HTML code for the form. 2. In Wix, open the page where you want to add the form. 3. Click +Add > More > HTML if you’re using the Wix Editor, or click +Add > Apps if you’re using the new Wix Editor.

4. Paste the HTML code into the Code box. 5. Click Update. 6. Click Save & Publish.

To create a form using Wix:

1. Click +Add > More > Forms if you’re using the Wix Editor, or click +Add > Apps if you’re using the new Wix Editor.

Select one of the templates or start from scratch. 4. Add and customize your fields, then click Save & Close when you’re done. Click Save & Publish to add the form to your site.

PRO TIP: If you are considering embedding a form on your Wix website, please be aware that there are some potential risks involved.

Firstly, if the form is not properly configured, it could allow malicious users to inject harmful code onto your website which could wreak havoc.

Secondly, even if the form is configured correctly, there is always the possibility that it could be exploited by a skilled hacker. If this happens, they could gain access to sensitive information such as user data or website passwords.

So, while embedding a form on your Wix website may be convenient, it is important to weigh up the risks before doing so.

You can use either method to embed a form in your Wix site – forms from another vendor or forms created in Wix – but note that some vendors do not allow their forms to be embedded on other sites.
