Can I Have 2 Brand Kits in Canva?

Last updated on December 8, 2022 @ 2:48 am

As a business owner, you want to have a strong and recognizable brand. Your brand kit is a collection of logos, colors, fonts, and other design elements that represent your business. It’s important to use these elements consistently across all of your marketing materials, from your website to your business cards.

While it’s important to have a consistent brand, you may also want to create different versions of your logo or use different colors for different purposes. For example, you may want to use a different color scheme for your website than you do for your print materials. Or you might want to create a simplified version of your logo for use on social media.

Canva allows you to create multiple brand kits, so you can have different versions of your logo and other design elements for different purposes. To create a new brand kit in Canva, click on the “Brand Kits” tab in the left sidebar. Then click the “Create a new brand kit” button.

Enter a name for your brand kit and click “Create.” You can then begin adding logos, colors, fonts, and other design elements to your brand kit.

To add a logo, click on the “Logos” tab and upload or drag and drop your logo file into the canvas. To add colors, click on the “Colors” tab and either enter hex codes or choose from the color swatches. To add fonts, click on the “Fonts” tab and either choose from the list of fonts or upload your own custom fonts.

Once you’ve added all the elements you want to include in your brand kit, click on the “Save” button. You can then access your brand kit anytime by clicking on the “Brand Kits” tab in the left sidebar.

If you need help creating or using brand kits in Canva, our support team is always happy to assist!

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Canva and you have two brand kits, you may experience some unexpected behaviour. We recommend only using one brand kit per design to avoid any potential issues.
