Can I Link My Website to Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:02 pm

If you’re running a business, you need to have a website. It’s how customers find you online and learn about your products or services.

But what if you’re using Shopify to run your business? Can you link your Shopify store to your website?

The answer is yes, you can link your Shopify store to your website. You can do this by using Shopify’s Buy Button.

PRO TIP: If you are considering linking your website to Shopify, be aware that this could have an adverse effect on your website’s search engine ranking. This is because Shopify uses a subdomain (yourstore.shopify.com) for its stores, and search engines may view this as duplicate content. As a result, your website’s ranking could be downgraded.

The Buy Button is a piece of code that you can add to your website. It lets your customers buy your products without having to leave your website.

To get started, go to Shopify’s Buy Button page and click on the “Create Buy Button” button. Enter the URL of the product you want to sell, choose the button style, and then click on the “Generate code” button. Copy the code and add it to your website.

Now when someone clicks on the Buy Button on your website, they’ll be taken to your Shopify store to complete their purchase. And since their purchase will be completed on your Shopify store, you’ll still get all the benefits of using Shopify, like being able to accept credit card payments and use Shopify’s reporting tools.

So if you’re running a business with Shopify and want to add a link from your website, you can do so by using Shopify’s Buy Button.
