Can I Make a Pie Chart in Figma?

There’s no denying that Figma is an incredibly powerful design tool. But one of the things that makes it so great is its flexibility – you can use it for everything from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity visual designs. So, can you make a pie chart in Figma?

The short answer is yes! Figma has a built-in pie chart component that you can use to create simple or complex pie charts. To add a pie chart to your design, simply select the ‘Pie Chart’ component from the ‘Add Component’ menu in the left sidebar.

Once you’ve added a pie chart to your design, you can start customizing it to your liking. There are a few different ways to do this:

PRO TIP: When creating a pie chart in Figma, be aware that the total value of all the segments in the pie must equal 100%. If the segments do not add up to 100%, the pie chart will not be accurate.

To change the colors of your pie chart, simply click on the color swatches in the ‘Fill’ section of the right sidebar.

To change the number of slices in your pie chart, click on the ‘Slices’ option in the ‘Chart Settings’ section of the right sidebar and enter the desired number of slices.

To add labels to your pie chart, click on the ‘Labels’ option in the ‘Chart Settings’ section of the right sidebar and select whether you want to show labels for each slice or just for the total value.

Once you’re happy with yourpie chart, simply click on the ‘Export’ button in the top bar and select whether you want to export it as an image or a PDF. And that’s it – you’ve successfully created a pie chart in Figma!
