There are a few ways to make the background of an image transparent in Canva.
The first way is to use the built-in transparency tool. To do this, simply click on the image, then click on the “Edit” button in the top toolbar. Next, click on the “Transparency” slider and drag it to the left until you see the background become transparent.
The second way is to use a PNG file with a transparent background. To do this, simply upload the PNG file into Canva and then drag and drop it onto your design. The background will automatically become transparent.
The third way is to use a layer mask. A layer mask is an advanced feature that allows you to control the transparency of an image on a per-pixel basis. To use a layer mask, first click on the image, then click on the “Edit” button in the top toolbar. Next, click on the “Add Layer Mask” button in the bottom toolbar.
A white rectangle will appear over your image. Use a black brush to paint over areas of the image that you want to be transparent. The more you paint, the more transparent those areas will become. You can also use a white brush to make areas of the image opaque again.
All three of these methods will allow you to create designs with transparent backgrounds in Canva. Experiment with each one to see which one works best for your needs.
