Yes, you can open Photoshop files in Figma. To do this, simply go to File > Open and select the Photoshop file you want to open. Figma will then automatically convert the file and all of its layers into vector shapes that you can edit.

PRO TIP: Opening Photoshop files in Figma can result in unexpected behavior and/or loss of data. We recommend only opening Figma files in Photoshop.

There are a few things to keep in mind when opening Photoshop files in Figma, however. First, text layers will be converted into vector shapes, so you won’t be able to edit the text directly. You’ll also need to make sure that any layer styles or effects are converted into vector shapes as well, otherwise they won’t show up in Figma.

Finally, keep in mind that not all Photoshop files will convert perfectly into Figma. Some complex files may not convert correctly, or may lose some fidelity in the conversion process. But for most files, you should be able to open them without any issue and start editing them right away.
