Can I Recreate UpWork Account?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 10:32 pm

Working as a freelancer has many advantages. You can work from anywhere, you are your own boss, and you can choose the projects you want to work on. However, one of the downsides of freelancing is that it can be difficult to find work.

One of the best places to find work as a freelancer is on UpWork. UpWork is a website where businesses and individuals post projects that freelancers can then bid on. Once you have been awarded a project, you and the client will agree on a price and timeline for the project, and then you can get to work.

However, what happens if you want to take a break from freelancing? Maybe you want to go back to school or take a full-time job for awhile.

PRO TIP: It is not possible to recreate an Upwork account. If you have lost access to your account, you will need to create a new one.

Or maybe you just need a break from the freelance grind. If this is the case, you may be wondering if you can delete your UpWork account and start over again later.

The short answer is yes, you can delete your UpWork account at any time. However, if you do delete your account, all of your previous feedback and earnings will be erased. This means that when you create a new account, you will essentially be starting from scratch.

This may not be a big deal if you have only been freelancing for a short time or if you don’t plan on returning to UpWork anytime soon. However, if you have been freelancing for awhile or if you think you may want to return to UpWork in the future, it may be worth keeping your account active even when you’re not actively looking for work. That way, your feedback and earnings will still be there when you need them.

So, in conclusion, yes – you can recreate your UpWork account if you need to take a break from freelancing or if you want to start over for any other reason. Just keep in mind that doing so will erase all of your previous feedback and earnings.
