Can I Send Email to Non Subscribers Shopify?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 3:02 am

If you’re using Shopify to run your online store, you might be wondering if it’s possible to email customers who haven’t subscribed to your newsletter. The answer is yes, you can email non-subscribers directly from Shopify – but there are a few things to keep in mind first.

To start, you’ll need to export a list of your customers from Shopify. To do this, go to Customers > All Customers. From here, you can choose to export all customers, or only those who match certain criteria.

Once you’ve exported your customer list, you can upload it to a service like MailChimp or Constant Contact. These services will allow you to send mass emails to your entire list at once. Keep in mind that you’ll need to pay for a subscription in order to use these services.

When composing your email, be sure to personalize it as much as possible. Add the recipient’s name in the subject line and throughout the body of the email. You should also include a link back to your store so that recipients can easily find their way back if they’re interested in making a purchase.

PRO TIP: If you are considering sending emails to non-subscribers in your Shopify store, be aware that this could result in your account being suspended or even terminated. This is because Shopify’s terms of service strictly prohibit sending unsolicited commercial emails ( commonly known as “spam”). So if you do send emails to non-subscribers, be sure to do so in a way that is compliant with Shopify’s terms of service. Otherwise, you could end up losing your Shopify account entirely.
