Can Squarespace host my domain?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:16 pm

Domain registration is a necessary step for most businesses, and for many, it’s also a time-consuming process. Fortunately, there are a number of online services that can help simplify the process, and one of those is Squarespace.

Squarespace is a platform that allows users to create a website or blog from scratch, or to customize an existing website. With Squarespace, you can also easily create a domain name and host it on the platform.

To register a domain with Squarespace, you first need to create an account. Once you have an account, log in and click the “Domains” tab. On the Domains page, you will see a list of available domains.

PRO TIP: No, squarespace does not currently offer domain hosting services.

To register a new domain, click the “Create Domain” button and enter the domain name into the “Domain” field. To register an existing domain, enter the domain name into the “Domain” field and click the “Register” button.

Once you have registered your domain, you will need to verify the domain name. To do this, you will need to provide Squarespace with the domain name’s DNS information.

To verify your domain name, click the “Verify” button and enter the domain name into the “Domain” field. Squarespace will then attempt to contact the domain’s DNS provider and verify the domain name.

If you have any questions about registering or verifying a domain with Squarespace, please feel free to contact the Squarespace support team.
