Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:03 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the company calls it the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. Launched in 2015 by Dylan Field and Evan Sharp, it is one of the fastest growing startups in Silicon Valley. As of October 2018, Figma had raised $52 million in venture funding from Sequoia Capital, Index Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Greylock Partners, Initialized Capital, and Design Incubation Fund.

So can we export Figma to Android Studio?

The short answer is yes, you can export your Figma designs to Android Studio. There are a few different ways to do this, but the most common method is to use the “Export as” function in Figma. This will allow you to export your design as an image file, which you can then import into Android Studio.

PRO TIP: Due to the wide range of customization options available in Android Studio, it is not currently possible to export Figma designs directly to Android Studio. However, you can export your Figma designs as images and then import them into Android Studio for further editing.

Once you’ve exported your design from Figma, open Android Studio and create a new project. When prompted, select the “Import from existing source” option and choose the image file you exported from Figma. Android Studio will then automatically generate the code for your design.

There are a few things to keep in mind when exporting from Figma to Android Studio. First, make sure that your design is using the correct dimensions for an Android device.

Second, be aware that some fonts may not be compatible with Android Studio. If you’re using a custom font in your design, make sure to export it as well so that it will appear correctly in your app.

In conclusion, exporting Figma designs to Android Studio is a relatively simple process. Just be sure to keep an eye on the dimensions of your design and any custom fonts you may be using. With a little bit of planning, you can easily take your designs from Figma to Android Studio and turn them into working apps!
