Can You Add a Pop Up on Squarespace?

You can absolutely add a pop up on Squarespace! In fact, there are a couple different ways to do it.

The first way is to use a third-party app. There are a few different apps that allow you to add pop ups to your Squarespace site.

The app that we recommend is Justuno. Justuno offers a free plan that allows you to create basic pop ups.

To add a Justuno pop up to your Squarespace site, you’ll first need to create an account and install the app. Once you’ve done that, you can start creating your pop up.

Justuno has a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to customize your pop up. Once you’re happy with your pop up, you can publish it to your Squarespace site.

PRO TIP: Adding a pop-up to your Squarespace website may increase the chances of conversion, but it could also annoy your visitors and lead to a high bounce rate. Use pop-ups sparingly and make sure they are relevant to the user’s interests.

The second way to add a pop up to your Squarespace site is by using code. If you’re comfortable working with code, this is a great option.

There are a few different ways to do this, but we recommend using Poptrox. Poptrox is an open-source library that allows you to create responsive lightboxed popup windows using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

To use Poptrox, you’ll first need to include the library on your Squarespace site. You can do this by adding the following code to your site’s head tag:

<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/poptrox/2.5.1/jquery.poptrox.min.js"></script>

Once you’ve done that, you can start creating your pop up using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Poptrox has a lot of documentation to help you get started. Once you’ve created your pop up, you can preview it on your site by adding ?poptrox=1 to the end of your URL.

Both of these methods are great ways to add a pop up to your Squarespace site. If you’re not comfortable working with code, we recommend using a third-party app like Justuno. If you are comfortable working with code, we recommend using Poptrox.
