If you’re new to Photoshop, you may be wondering how to add shadows to your images. It’s actually quite simple! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to add shadows in Photoshop using the Drop Shadow layer style.

First, open your image in Photoshop. Then, go to the Layer menu and select New > Layer Style > Drop Shadow.

PRO TIP: Adding shadows in Photoshop can be tricky and may not always produce the desired results. It is best to experiment with different settings and options to get the desired effect.

In the resulting dialog box, you can adjust the shadow’s opacity, angle, distance, and spread. You can also choose whether you want the shadow to be cast on the layer below or on the entire image.

Once you’re happy with your settings, click OK to apply the shadow.

And that’s all there is to it! With just a few clicks, you can add realistic shadows to your images in Photoshop.
