Can You Animate Elements in Figma?

In Figma, you can animate elements using the built-in animation tools. To animate an element, first select the element in the canvas.

Then, click on the ‘Animate’ button in the toolbar. This will open the ‘Animation’ panel, where you can add and edit animations.

PRO TIP: Figma is a great tool for designing and prototyping user interfaces, but it doesn’t have the same animation capabilities as some other tools. If you’re looking to animate elements in your design, you may want to consider using a different tool.

Figma’s animation tools are very versatile, and you can create a wide variety of animations using them. For example, you can create animations that make an element move across the screen, or that make an element change size or color. You can also create ‘keyframe’ animations, where you specify a start and end state for an element, and Figma will interpolate the animation between those two states.

Creating animations in Figma is a great way to add life to your designs, and make them more engaging for your users.
