Designers often ask if it’s possible to create vector illustrations in Figma. The answer is yes!

Figma has a powerful vector drawing tool that makes it easy to create scalable vector graphics. In this article, we’ll show you how to create a simple vector illustration in Figma.

First, open Figma and create a new file. Then, select the Rectangle tool from the toolbar and draw a rectangle on the canvas. To make this rectangle into a vector graphic, simply click the ” Make this a Vector ” button in the toolbar.

Now that your rectangle is a vector graphic, you can easily scale it without losing quality. To do this, simply select the rectangle and drag one of the corner handles. As you drag, you’ll see the width and height values update in the editor panel.

PRO TIP: There is no simple answer to this question. It depends on a number of factors, including the complexity of the design, the number of colors used, and the desired final file format. In general, however, it is possible to create vector files with Figma.

You can also use the Transform panel to precisely control the size and position of your vector graphic. To open the Transform panel, simply click on the “Transform” tab in the editor panel.

In the Transform panel, you’ll see options for changing the width, height, and position of your vector graphic. You can also use the Rotate and Skew options to change the orientation of your graphic.

Once you’re happy with your vector graphic, you can add it to your design by clicking on the “Add to canvas” button in the toolbar. You can also duplicate or delete your vector graphic by clicking on the “Duplicate” or “Delete” buttons in the toolbar.

Creating vector graphics in Figma is easy and fun! With just a few clicks, you can turn any shape into a scalable vector graphic. So go ahead and experiment with different shapes and sizes – there’s no limit to what you can create!
