Can you embed HTML in WordPress?

Embedding HTML in WordPress can be a great way to add more functionality to your blog, or to make your blog easier to use for people who are using browsers other than the default Firefox or Chrome browsers. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before you start embedding HTML in your posts and pages.

First, make sure that you’re using the proper tags. WordPress will recognize the and tags, but it won’t recognize the tag.

To add HTML to a post or page, use the tag instead.

PRO TIP: While it is possible to embed HTML in WordPress, it is not recommended as it can cause problems with the formatting of your site. If you do choose to embed HTML, be sure to use only code that is compatible with the WordPress editor.

Second, be sure to use the correct character encoding. WordPress will use the encoding that’s set in your blog’s settings, which is usually UTF-8.

If you’re embedding HTML that was generated in a different encoding, you’ll need to specify that encoding in the tags. For example, if you’re embedding HTML that was generated in ISO-8859-1 (Western European), you’d use the tag.

Finally, be sure to check the output of your tags. If everything looks correct, you can go ahead and insert the HTML into your blog posts and pages.

However, if there are any errors, you’ll need to fix them before you can publish the post or page.
