Can You Export Photoshop Actions?

As a photographer, you know that time is money. You can save both by using Photoshop actions to automate some of your editing tasks. You can find all sorts of pre-made Photoshop actions online and in Photoshop’s own Action panel.

But what if you want to use your own custom action or one from a trusted third-party? Can you export Photoshop actions for use on another computer or with another editor?

The good news is that yes, you can export Photoshop actions! In fact, it’s quite easy to do. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Actions panel in Photoshop (Window > Actions).

2. Select the action you want to export from the list.

3. Click the menu icon in the top right corner of the panel and select “Export Actions.”

4. Choose a location to save the file and click “Save.”
