Can You Make Multiple Shopify Stores on One Account?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 3:47 pm

You can absolutely have multiple Shopify stores on one account! In fact, it’s a great way to keep track of all your ecommerce businesses in one place. You can use the same login for each store, and manage them all from the same dashboard.

To set up a new Shopify store, simply click the “Add Store” button from your Shopify dashboard. You’ll be prompted to enter some basic information about your new store, such as the store name and address. Once you’ve done that, you can start adding products, customizing your theme, and setting up your payment methods.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about creating multiple Shopify stores on one account, there are a few things you should know. First, each store will have its own unique URL, so you will need to set up redirects from your main domain to each of the store URLs. Secondly, you will need to set up different payment methods for each store, as Shopify does not currently support multiple stores on one account with a single payment method. Finally, keep in mind that managing multiple stores can be time-consuming, so make sure you have the resources in place to do so before creating multiple stores.

If you’re running multiple stores, you can use the “Shopify Multi-Store” app to manage them all from one place. This app lets you view your sales data, track inventory, and make changes to your Shopify settings for all of your stores from one central location.

Whether you’re just starting out with ecommerce or you’re a seasoned pro, having multiple Shopify stores on one account is a great way to stay organized and keep track of all your businesses in one place!
