Many people are wondering if they can run Windows on AWS. The answer is a bit complicated, but in general, it is possible to run Windows on AWS.

There are a few things you need to take into account, though, such as the type of Windows you are running and the type of AWS account you are using.

If you are running a desktop or laptop computer, you can likely run Windows on AWS. You will need to use an AWS account with at least some compute capacity and storage space, though.

PRO TIP: While it is possible to run Windows on AWS, it is not recommended. AWS is designed for Linux and running Windows can decrease the performance and stability of your instance. Additionally, Windows instances on AWS incur additional charges.

If you are running a server, you may be able to run Windows on AWS, but it will likely require more resources and setup time.
