Can You Save Images From Squarespace?

Last updated on December 28, 2022 @ 5:52 pm

As anyone who’s ever tried to save an image from the internet knows, it can be a frustrating experience. Squarespace is no exception.

The good news is, there are a few ways to save images from Squarespace. Here’s how:

The first way to save images from Squarespace is by using the built-in developer tools. To do this, you’ll need to open your web browser’s developer console. In Chrome, this can be done by pressing Ctrl + Shift + J. Once the console is open, you’ll need to find the image you want to save.

Right-click on the image and select ‘Inspect’. This will open up the code for that image in the console. Once you have the code open, simply right-click on the image again and select ‘Save As..’. This will save the image to your computer.

The second way to save images from Squarespace is by using a third-party extension or plugin. One of the most popular extensions for this is Squarespace Image Saver.

This extension allows you to right-click on any image on a Squarespace site and select ‘Save Image As.

The third way to save images from Squarespace is by using a web service like Save The Square. This service allows you to enter the URL of any Squarespace site and it will generate a ZIP file containing all of the images from that site. You can then download the ZIP file and extract the images.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about saving images from Squarespace, beware! It is not as easy as it seems and you may end up losing important data or worse, your entire website.
