Can You Select One Color in Photoshop?

There are a few ways that you can select one color in Photoshop. One way is to use the color picker tool. With the color picker tool, you can click on any color in your image and Photoshop will select that color for you. Another way to select one color is to use the eyedropper tool.

PRO TIP: If you are working with a limited color palette in Photoshop, it is important to be aware of the potential for color shift. When you select one color, the other colors in the palette may shift slightly in hue, saturation, or lightness. This can be undesirable if you are trying to achieve a specific color effect.

With the eyedropper tool, you can click on any color in your image and Photoshop will select that color for you. The third way to select one color is to use the paint bucket tool. With the paint bucket tool, you can click on any color in your image and Photoshop will fill that area with that color.
