Can You Send an Invoice Through WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:50 pm

WooCommerce is a powerful ecommerce tool that allows you to sell products and services online. One of the features of WooCommerce is the ability to send invoices to your customers. This can be a great way to keep track of your sales and customers.

Invoices can be sent through WooCommerce in two ways:

1. Send an invoice manually: To send an invoice manually, go to WooCommerce > Orders and select the order you wish to invoice. From the Order Details screen, select Invoice from the Order Actions dropdown menu.

2. Send an invoice automatically: If you want to automatically send an invoice to your customers when they purchase something from your store, you can do so by setting up automatic invoicing in WooCommerce. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Automatic Invoicing and select the Enable Automatic Invoicing checkbox.

Once you have set up automatic invoicing, you can choose how often you want invoices to be sent out to your customers. You can choose to send them weekly, monthly, or even on a specific date.

You can also choose whether or not you want to include tax on your invoices. If you are located in the United States, you will need to include tax on your invoices. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Tax and select the Include Tax checkbox.

Once you have set up automatic invoicing, your customers will receive an invoice automatically after they purchase something from your store. They will also receive an email notification letting them know that an invoice has been generated for their purchase.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that sending invoices through WooCommerce can be risky. If you are not careful, your personal information could be compromised. Before sending any invoices, make sure that you understand the risks and take steps to protect yourself.
