Can You Skew Image in Figma?

Figma is a great vector drawing tool that allows you to create complex illustrations and designs with ease. However, one thing that Figma doesn’t allow you to do is skew an image.

If you’re looking to skew an image in Figma, you’ll need to use a workaround. The workaround is to first draw a rectangle that’s the same size as the image you want to skew.

PRO TIP: Skewing images in Figma can result in distorted or inaccurate results. Use caution when performing this operation.

Then, place the image inside the rectangle and use the transform tool to skew the rectangle. The image will be skewed along with the rectangle.

While this workaround does allow you to skew images in Figma, it’s not ideal. The main downside is that it’s difficult to control the amount of skewing. It’s also worth noting that this workaround only works for rectangular images; if you try to skew a non-rectangular image, it will be distorted.

If you need to skew an image in Figma, the best way to do it is by using a workaround. First, draw a rectangle that’s the same size as the image you want to skew.
