Whether you’re a student taking notes in class, or a professional taking notes in a meeting, you can use Canva’s online design platform to create beautiful, shareable notes. You can even style your text using HTML tags!

To get started, sign up for a free Canva account. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Create a design” button and select the “Note” template. You can also search for “notes” in the search bar to find this template quickly.

On the template page, you’ll see a variety of note designs to choose from. Select the one you like best and click on the “Use this template” button. This will open up the design in the Canva editor.

PRO TIP: Canva is a great way to take notes and create visuals for presentations, but beware of its potential copyright pitfalls. When using Canva, be sure to only use images that you have the rights to use, or that are in the public domain. If you’re not sure about an image’s copyright status, it’s best to err on the side of caution and find a different image to use.

In the editor, you can add text to your design using the text boxes provided. To style your text, simply select the text you want to style and click on the “Text” button in the top toolbar. This will open up the text editing panel where you can change the font, color, size, and more.

Once you’ve styled your text, you can add other elements to your design such as images, shapes, and lines. When you’re happy with your design, simply click on the “Download” button in the top toolbar and select your preferred file format.
