GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Wix Payments is a payment processing service that is integrated into the Wix platform. To use Wix Payments, you must first create a Wix account and then sign up for Wix Payments.

Once you have signed up for Wix Payments, you can add a payment button to your website. When your website visitors click on the payment button, they will be redirected to the Wix Payments page where they can enter their payment information.

PRO TIP: Wix does not currently offer the ability to take payments through their platform. This may change in the future, but for now, if you need to take payments on your website, you will need to use a third-party payment processor.

You can also take payments through a third-party processor such as PayPal or Stripe. To take payments through a third-party processor, you will need to sign up for an account with the processor and then add their payment button to your website. When your website visitors click on the payment button, they will be redirected to the processor’s website where they can enter their payment information.

Both Wix Payments and third-party processors allow you to accept credit card payments. However, there are some differences between the two.

With Wix Payments, you will pay a transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. With a third-party processor, you will pay a transaction fee of 2.30 per transaction plus a processing fee of 2%-3%.
