In Photoshop, you can turn a selection into a path, which can be useful if you want to create a custom shape or mask. To do this, simply use the “Make Work Path” command in the “Paths” panel.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with the Photoshop software, “Can You Turn a Selection Into a Path in Photoshop?” can be a tricky question. The answer is yes, but it’s important to know how to do it correctly, or you may end up with an unwanted result.

First, make a selection using any of the selection tools. Then, go to the “Paths” panel and click on the “Make Work Path” button. A new path will appear in the panel, which you can then edit as needed.

Keep in mind that when you turn a selection into a path, it is converted to a vector path. This means that it will lose any bitmap data that was originally in the selection. So, if you’re planning on using this path for further editing, it’s best to make a copy of the original image first.
