Actions in Photoshop Elements let you automate a series of tasks, such as applying a series of filters to an image. You can record your own actions, or use ones that come with Photoshop Elements.

To use an action, you must first load it into the Actions panel. You can then play the action on one or more images.

Photoshop Elements comes with a number of built-in actions, such as the one that applies a series of filters to an image. To use an action, you must first load it into the Actions panel.

PRO TIP: Actions in Photoshop Elements can be very powerful and can greatly improve your workflow. However, if you are not careful, they can also create problems. Make sure that you understand what an action is doing before you use it, and always test it on a copy of your image first.

You can also record your own actions. To do this, open the Actions panel and click the Create new action button . In the Record Action dialog box, give your action a name and choose a function key to assign to it. Then click the Record button .

Photoshop Elements will now record any steps you take as you work on an image. When you’re finished, click the Stop button in the Actions panel. Your recorded action will now be available to play back on any image.

Actions are a great way to automate repetitive tasks in Photoshop Elements. By recording your own actions, or using ones that come with Photoshop Elements, you can save time and streamline your workflow.
