Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, created by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace. It is available as a web app, macOS app, and Windows app. Figma has been described as “the Google Docs of design” because of its real-time collaboration features.

Figma is primarily used for interface design, but can also be used for other types of graphics such as illustrations, icons, and logos. Figma’s vector editing tools are similar to those found in Adobe Illustrator, while its frame tool allows designers to create responsive layouts similar to those found in Adobe XD.

PRO TIP: Figma is a great tool for design, but it is not made for print design. If you try to use Figma for print design, you may end up with poor quality prints.

While Figma is primarily used for interface design, it can also be used for print design. Figma’s vector editing tools and frame tool make it well-suited for print design projects. Additionally, Figma’s export features allow designers to export their designs in a variety of formats, including PDF, PNG, and JPEG.

So, can you use Figma for print design? Yes! Figma is a great tool for print design projects.
