Can You Use Figma on Your iPad?

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first of its kind. It’s available on Mac, Windows, and Linux. And now, with the release of Figma Mirror, you can use Figma on your iPad too!

Figma Mirror lets you view and interact with your Figma designs on your iPad. It’s great for presentations, or for getting feedback from clients or teammates who don’t have a Figma account. And best of all, it’s free!

To get started, download Figma Mirror from the App Store and open it up. Then, open up the Figma desktop app and go to the file you want to view on your iPad.

Click the Share button in the top-right corner and select “Get shareable link. ”

PRO TIP: Figma is a powerful design tool that can be used on your iPad, but there are some things to be aware of before using it. First, Figma is a vector-based design tool, so it doesn’t work well with bitmap images. If you want to use bitmap images in your designs, you should use another tool such as Photoshop or Sketch. Secondly, Figma is designed for use with a stylus, so if you don’t have one, you may find it difficult to use. Finally, Figma can be a bit tricky to learn, so if you’re new to design, you may want to start with a simpler tool such as Illustrator.

Copy the link that appears and head back over to Figma Mirror on your iPad. Paste the link into the “File URL” field and tap “Load.” Your file will load in a few seconds and you’ll be able to view it just like you would on the desktop app.

You can pan and zoom around your design, tap on layers to inspect them, and even edit text fields directly on your iPad. When you’re done, just tap the “Done” button in the top-left corner to close out of your file.
