Can you use Namecheap email with Gmail?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:27 pm

Namecheap is a great choice for email providers if you’re looking for an affordable option with a good range of features. In addition to providing standard email services, Namecheap offers a number of add-ons, such as domain registration, email forwarding, and a variety of security features.

PRO TIP: We would not recommend using Namecheap email with Gmail as there have been reports of incompatibility between the two services.

While it’s possible to use Namecheap email with Gmail, there are a few steps you’ll need to take first. First, you’ll need to create a new account with Namecheap. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to add your Gmail account information. You can find your Gmail address in your account settings, or you can use the link provided in Namecheap’s confirmation email. After you’ve added your Gmail account information, you’ll need to set up your email settings.

In the Settings section of your Namecheap account, you’ll find an Email Settings page. On this page, you’ll need to enter your Gmail account name and password, select the From and To addresses for your emails, and choose the type of email you want to send (standard or encrypted). Finally, you’ll need to activate your Namecheap account by clicking the Activate button. After you’ve activated your Namecheap account, you’ll be able to access your emails using your Gmail account.
