If you have your own domain name, you can use it with Squarespace! You’ll just need to point your DNS to Squarespace’s servers.

We have a guide to help you do that.

Once your DNS is pointed to Squarespace, you can add your domain to your site. Just go to Settings > Domains and click “Add Domain.”

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about using your own domain on Squarespace, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First of all, Squarespace is a very popular platform and as such, it is often targeted by hackers. If you use your own domain on Squarespace, you could be making yourself a target for hackers. Additionally, if you use a custom domain on Squarespace, you will need to be sure to keep your domain registration and hosting information up to date, or you could risk losing your domain.

If you want to use an email address with your domain, you can set up G Suite or Microsoft 365 through Squarespace. You can also transfer your domain to Squarespace if you want us to manage everything for you.
