If you can’t complete your scratch disks full Photoshop, it’s likely because you’re using an older version of the software. As of Photoshop CC 2015, the software no longer uses scratch disks. Instead, it uses a feature called “Smart Objects” to automatically save your work.

If you’re using an older version of Photoshop, you can try increasing the amount of RAM that the software uses. This can be done by going to Edit > Preferences > Performance.

From here, you can increase the amount of RAM that Photoshop uses. Additionally, you can try purging the History and Clipboard.

If you’re still having trouble, it’s best to contact Adobe customer support. They will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and find a solution that works for you.

PRO TIP: If you see the message “Can’t complete your scratch disks full,” it means that Photoshop is low on memory and cannot complete the current task. You may be able to free up some memory by closing other applications or quitting and relaunching Photoshop.
