When you cancel your Squarespace subscription, you will receive a refund for any unused time on your current billing period. If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged.
How to cancel your Squarespace subscription
If you’re sure you want to cancel your Squarespace subscription, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and go to Billing & Account.
- Click Cancel Subscription. You’ll see a confirmation modal.
- Click Continue to Cancel. You’ll see another modal with more information about what happens when you cancel.
- Click Confirm Cancellation. This will cancel your subscription immediately.
Do You Get a Refund if You Cancel Squarespace Subscription?
When you cancel your Squarespace subscription, you will receive a refund for any unused time on your current billing period.
If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged.
You can follow the steps above to cancel your Squarespace subscription. Once you have confirmed the cancellation, Squarespace will stop billing you for future months. If there is any time remaining in your current billing period, you will receive a prorated refund for that time. For example, if you paid for a year up front and cancel after six months, you’ll get a refund for half of the amount you paid.
