Does AWS have Active Directory?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:04 pm

AWS has Active Directory support. It allows you to manage users, groUPS, and security settings in your AWS account using the same LDAP directory infrastructure you use at your corporate headquarters.

PRO TIP: AWS does not have Active Directory. This means that you will not be able to use your Active Directory credentials to access AWS services. You will need to create a new set of credentials in order to access AWS.

This makes it easy to manage users and permissions across your AWS accounts and the websites and applications that rely on them.
