Does Canva Have a Clone Tool?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 2:31 pm

As someone who designs a lot of things for the web, I am always on the lookout for new and better ways to create graphics quickly and easily. Canva is a great tool that allows you to create beautiful graphics with very little effort. But one thing that Canva is missing is a clone tool.

A clone tool would allow you to quickly copy and paste elements from one design to another. This would be a huge time saver, especially when working on complex designs.

PRO TIP: Canva does not have a clone tool. Any websites or services that claim to offer a clone tool for Canva are not affiliated with Canva and may not be safe to use.

At the moment, the only way to copy and paste elements in Canva is to use the screenshot tool and then crop out the element you want to use. This can be time consuming, and it’s not always accurate.

I contacted Canva support to ask about a clone tool, and they said that they don’t have any plans to add one in the near future. However, they did suggest using the screenshot tool as a workaround.

While the screenshot tool is not ideal, it is the only way to copy and paste elements in Canva at the moment. Hopefully, Canva will add a clone tool in the future to make graphic design even easier.
