Does Figma Support HTML?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:23 pm

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, developed by Figma, Inc. It is available on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Figma supports multiple file formats including .jpg, .png, and .svg. It also supports exporting to HTML.

When it comes to design tools, Figma is a fairly new entrant. It was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace.

The two had previously worked together on the online design tool CollabKit. CollabKit was acquired by Facebook in 2010, where Field and Wallace went on to work on the Facebook Design team. In 2012, they left Facebook to start Figma.

PRO TIP: Figma does not currently support HTML export. If you try to export your Figma design as HTML, you will receive an error message.

Figma has been steadily gaining popularity since its launch. In 2016, it was named one of the best startup products of the year by Product Hunt.

In 2017, it raised $14 million in a Series A funding round. And in 2018, it was named one of the top 10 software products of the year by G2 Crowd.

So does Figma support HTML? Yes, it does!

You can export your designs as HTML files from Figma. That means you can take your designs from Figma and use them on your website or blog. All you need to do is export your design as an HTML file and then upload it to your website or blog.
