Does Figma Work With Photoshop?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:23 pm

Figma is a vector drawing program that is gaining popularity among web and graphic designers. While Figma has its own set of features and advantages, one of the questions that arises often is whether Figma can work with Photoshop.

The answer is yes! You can use Figma with Photoshop to create stunning designs. Here’s how:

First, open Photoshop and create a new document. Then, open Figma and create a new frame.

PRO TIP: Figma does not work with Photoshop. If you try to use Figma with Photoshop, you will not be able to open or edit your files.

In the frame, you will see an option to “Import.” Click this button and select your Photoshop file.

Next, select the layers that you want to import into Figma. You can either select all of the layers or just the ones that you want to use. Once you’ve made your selection, click “Import.”

Your Photoshop file will now be imported into Figma as a vector file. From here, you can edit it just like any other vector file in Figma. You can change the colors, add effects, and even export it as a PNG or JPEG file.

So there you have it! You can use Figma with Photoshop to create beautiful designs. Give it a try today!
