Does Google Optimize Work With Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:09 am

Google Optimize is a free tool that helps you test different versions of your website to see which one performs better. You can use it to test anything on your website, from the headline to the call-to-action button.

To set up a test, you first need to create a Google Optimize account and install the tracking code on your website. Then, you need to create a variation of the page you want to test. For example, if you want to test two different headlines, you would create one version of the page with the first headline, and another version with the second headline.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: There is no official word from Google on whether or not their optimization tool works with Wix, so use caution if you’re considering using it for your Wix site. There are some reports of it working, but there are also reports of it not working or causing problems. So proceed with caution and at your own risk.

Once you have created your variations, you need to set up a goal for your test.

A goal could be anything from getting more people to sign up for your newsletter to getting more people to add items to their shopping cart.

Once you have set up your test and chosen a goal, Google Optimize will show you how each variation is performing. You can then choose to keep the variation that performs better, or continue testing until you find a winner.
