If you’re using a version of Photoshop that’s older than CS6, then you won’t be able to use it on macOS Catalina. Photoshop CS6 is the latest and greatest Photoshop release for macOS, and it supports both macOS 10.

13 (High Sierra) and macOS Catalina. If you’re using an older version of Photoshop, then you’ll need to upgrade to CS6 in order to use it on macOS Catalina.

Although CS6 is the latest and greatest release of Photoshop for macOS, there are still some features in CS6 that aren’t available in macOS Catalina. For example, CS6 doesn’t have support for Metal, which is the graphical engine used in newer macOS devices.

PRO TIP: Photoshop CS6 is not officially compatible with macOS Catalina. There are reports of it working with some hacks, but there is no guarantee that it will work correctly or that all features will be available. Use CS6 at your own risk.

Additionally, some features in CS6 that are available on macOS Catalina, such as the Photomerge feature, are only partially implemented in CS6. So, while CS6 is the best current release of Photoshop for macOS, there are some features that aren’t available on macOS Catalina.

That being said, most features in CS6 are available on macOS Catalina, and you should be able to use Photoshop CS6 on macOS Catalina without any problems. If you have any questions about whether or not Photoshop CS6 will work on macOS Catalina, then be sure to contact your software provider for more information.
