Does Photoshop Support ICO Files?

Yes, Photoshop supports ICO files. You can use Photoshop to open and edit ICO files. ICO files are usually used for website favicons or Windows icons.

To open an ICO file in Photoshop, go to File > Open and select the ICO file. Then, click Open. You can also double-click the ICO file to open it in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: Photoshop does not support ICO files. If you try to open an ICO file in Photoshop, you will receive the following error message: “Could not complete your request because it is not a valid Photoshop document.”

To edit an ICO file in Photoshop, go to File > Open and select the ICO file.

You can also double-click the ICO file to open it in Photoshop. Once the ICO file is open in Photoshop, you can edit it like any other image file. To save your changes, go to File > Save As and select theICO file format.
