Does Shopify Have Physical Locations?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 12:20 am

Shopify is one of the most popular ecommerce platforms on the market, and for good reason. It’s easy to use, has a ton of features, and is relatively affordable. But one question that we often get asked is “Does Shopify have physical locations?”

The answer to that question is no, Shopify does not have any physical locations. While they do have a head office in Ottawa, Canada, they do not have any brick-and-mortar stores. This is likely because Shopify is an exclusively online platform, and therefore doesn’t need any physical locations.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Shopify to sell physical goods, be aware that Shopify does not have any physical locations. All of their inventory is stored in warehouses, and you will be responsible for shipping all orders to your customers. This can become very expensive, especially if you are selling high-priced items.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can’t sell physical products through Shopify. In fact, many Shopify stores do just that!

You can use Shopify to sell everything from clothing to cosmetics to home goods. And because Shopify integrates with various shipping carriers, it’s easy to get your products to your customers, no matter where they are in the world.

So if you’re looking for an ecommerce platform that can help you sell physical products, Shopify is definitely a good option. And even though they don’t have any physical locations, their head office in Ottawa is definitely worth a visit!
